It happens daily at DFW's terminal D, where I work.

You never know when it was going to happen, but all of a sudden, you hear a loud round of applause and cheering, and you know the uniformed servicemen have just arrived and are walking through the glassed in walkway above, toward customs. Passengers and employees alike stop, and in a heart wrenching moment, pay their tribute, respect and salute to those that are doing what gives all of us our freedoms and liberties. It chokes me up every time.

It's just one of those things that give you pause, to appreciate those great people. And it's well deserved.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Barksdale AFB is near me .....I hug a Soldier at least once a week and
when a soldier has been deployed...the spouse and babies get hugs!!! If I
don't see them come in, they will look for me!!! They love their hugs and we LOVE them!!

The music is a piece called "Anymore" -- I found it on a stock music web
site called IBAudio.com. Couldn't tell you who the artist is...
