Anybody see this guy set the world record in the 200m tonight? Wow! Add this on top of the world record in the 100m earlier in the Olympics. :shock:

His showboating is another story. Can't stand all the chest thumping stuff.

Interestingly, in the 200 m, he was chest-thumping before & after the run; but during the 100 m run he was "chest-thumping" way before reaching the finish line--lowering his two arms as if saying "no contest, guys!" There is no question that he had great performances---breaking an unprecedented two sprint world records in the same Olympics! I'm sure some people will find nothing wrong with his attitude and bragging antics because of his unquestionable superior running ability. However, humility that goes with greatness, would have been a more honorable virtue.

Something about these performances screams "chemically enhanced".

I don't know...I don't even like to think that anymore. Innocent until proven guilty, I guess.

He probably picked up the showboating from the American relay team in Sydney - 2000. They really dampened the moment with their antics back then.
