There is no comparison between a private citizen speaking on a airplane, and a guy syndicated coast-to-coast using the public airwaves.

If he apologized, then good for him. However, Glenn Beck apologized for his comments about the California wildfires and you didn't accept that apology since you've brought that up on a number of occasions on this board.

Your application of the first amendment is not only twisting its interpretation but tearing it in half and gluing it on backwards.

Nobody, public figure and private citizen alike, is safe today from the roving eye of YouTube and unsolicited overnight viral infamy.
Now, should private comments that were intended to stay private have an impact on his career?
I say no.

Not to too delicately thread the needle, but the thoughts of a sitting president, especially in regards to the citizenry he has sworn to protect, is of course relevant. I thought we we’re talking about DJs and a retired head of the DNC.
