Being an afternoon game will the traffic be killer if we do the drive home? Can you tell I don't get to Chicago much?

That depends whether you're doing a weekday game or a weekend game.

If its going to be a weekday, grab dinner after the game and then head out.
You're gonna spend the time you'd spend eating sitting in 5:00 traffic anyway.

Weekend shouldn't be too bad getting out.

Ah ha - Friday ... definitely park in one of our fine restaurants and wait out the rush hour traffic. You'll only end up wanting to kill yourself (or someone else) in that traffic.

Rhi and I spent nearly 2 hours trying to get out of the city towards Indiana last Fri at 4:00, (but we were also coming from much farther in)... there's road construction all over the highways too, which does not help.
