Did I ever mention to you the dreams in which I am being chased by tornados and tidal waves?

I can remember my dreams vividly almost every night, like you. My most common one is a tornado dream which occurs once or maybe even twice a week. Pretty freaky how the mind works, huh?

I'm hitting a few shows at Amos' in the next few weeks...I think Frontiers is coming in October. Let me know if ya wanna go - I usually get a few people together.

I live in Wilmington. I'm definately interested in the Amos/Frontiers gig. I just need to double check the date.

You still staring at your crack?

My crack is laying crack first on the couch at the moment. Earlier in the day my crack was fully vertical running in Baywatch slow motion on a tread mill at Gold's Gym. Does that excite you?

Dream Number 1:

I was a volunteer at this Crisis Center. Only instead of being in it's usual building it was in a supermarket. My job that day was to pick up singer, Tony Bennett so he could watch TV with us.

Me and two volunteers traveled into the city. He lived in a gated community. Once past the gate, it was a urban ghetto with graphittee , the whole bit. THere were people running about, screaming at the top of their lungs. When we arrived at his apartment, he greeted us at the door and invited us in. I don;t remmeber much aboout the apartment, other than it was nice and he was nice.

We took him back to the center/supermarket and watched tv together. I remember being concerned because I didn;gt know how i was going to entertain Tony and bag groceries at the same time.

Dream Number 2:

Me and two other people (anybody smell a pattern here) were in this building. Water was pouring in from every side. It was leave or die, so we ran from room to room. Finally we landed in this other room, but it was FROZEN OVER. Think The Day After Tomorrow. We weren't safe there either, so we ran again. Good thing to because this man comes out of nowhere hawking a machette. We're on the roof. The two people that were with me, jumped for it. Scared of heights, I scaled a radio tower down. Only the machette man was still behind me. My two comrades ran into the woods. Machette man fell to the ground wryting with a PYTHON wrapped around his entire body. I threw pine cones to protect myself.

Dream Number 3:

Don't remember too many details other than I was way drunk with my 6 year old niece arguing over who was gonna drive.

NOTE TO THE AUTHORITIES, THIS WAS ONLY A CRAZY SLEEP DEPRIVED DREAM. I WOULD NEVER DRINK, DRIVE OR BOTH IN THE PRESENCE OF WEE TOTTERS.

What?! No dream of SP singing? :P What kind of loon are you?

I know. Sad isn't it? I dream of Steve, just not as often as i like.

My tornado dreams go through stages. For a while I was having them at least once to several times a week. Depends on the course of life.

You live in “dwelling” that you do not wish to be and you are not happy with your current employment. Hey, it’s the best I can make of it.

You should read “Demon haunted world” by Carl Sagan. It may debunk all the romantic pseudoscience elements that people like to use to interpret dreams but at least you'll have a better understanding of what is happening in your brain.

Here are a few links including one for "Demon Haunted World" which touches on many things besides dreams, mainly pseudoscience. "Dragons of Eden" has more info regarding the brain and how it has developed over time and gives more info regarding dreams' "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" also delves into the brain quite a bit. It's better to start off with Demon Haunted World as the other books get very deep into science concerning humankind and other things. All his books have references to other works so you can find the authors of other material he is talking about.

Thanks.

Latest dreams I've had.

Night before last I dreamed that I married an Osmond. No, not Donny. :o One of the older brothers. I wasn't happy about it because I was having to get after my intended to take a shower before the ceremony. That and he kept disappearing on me.

I remember scurrying about in my wedding dress and watching my family layout the reception dinner. They were serving sweet potatos. They were quite orange in my dream.

Last night I dreamed that I and a couple other people were stuck together in this house. There were all these black flesh eating pigs whereever we went.
