Holla hell hathness, I do not like it when women peck at each other.
I always prefer the men vs women mine fields.
We usually do well with those.

Uh oh...That was close! Good thing I ended up using a synonym...saved me to a degree lol. But, hey, I think epresley wouldn't mind...the king's a willing recipient, the honor is well-deserved lol.

LOL, nothing to see, move along, no chick fight today....nobody's throwing elbows yet.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUJmuyhQVX0

I know you have this already but I couldn't find it on youtube so maybe take another listen?
https://www.yousendit.com/download/bVlC ... R04zZUE9PQ

Great tune! One of my favorite unreleased solo Perry tracks. But what am I listening for, are you trying to tell me I'm a lost angel? :?
I don't know....you can only answer that for yourself.....are you lost? If you really listen then maybe it's just a little help to find your way if you are.

LOL, not lost at all. Just on your meaning I guess. The song is about children being lost angels isn't it? :? I'm not one for delving deep into lyrical content.........if I dig the vocals and the beat, that's usually good enough for me. :D

We are all God's children. Couldn't find the lyrics anywhere so I listened and wrote them down....a couple lines were difficult to hear clearly....hopefully if any are not exactly correct then maybe Lora or Cindy could find out the correct wording....

Lost Angels
Lost angels..all were children
with eyes full of dreams

They say they love you
they say they care for
but still they lie...words are all you hear
your sick of lieing...and promises broken
All God's soul's deserve a loving hand.

Lost Angels...all were children
with eyes full of dreams they hide
oh...Invisible and lonely
the power doesn't want to know
oh, but still they try to make it one more day

Lost angels...all once were children
with eyes full of dreams they hide
You know...everytime you feel your heartache
you don't have to run away
and when your shadows all in darkness
you know...tears cry out for love
you must believe in your salvation
it's everywhere, your not alone
and when your eyes have stopped believing
you know...tears cry out for love

tears, tears they cry
tears, tears they cry
tears, tears they cry
tears, tears they cry

everytime you hear your heart ache
you don't have to run away
and when your shadows all in darkness
you know..tears cry out for love

you must believe in your salvation
it's everywhere..your not alone
and when your eyes have stopped believing
you know..tears cry out for love

and when yor eyes have stopped believing
you know...tears cry out for love

lost angels....all were children
with eyes full of dreams

my name was swept away during identity crisis week too. i changed it to Dulce Lady in honor of JSS ROCKS week one time. It had been GirLikeYou for y-e-a-r-s..........a song from Neal's PIRANHA BLUES album. the song was about me so I figured why not. :P Dulce Lady is about me too. :P it is a bonus track on JSS' Lost In The Translation cd--hence my location.

but, before that, I was momflute from when AOL 1st started up. I had a large flute studio with approx. 30 private students and a houseful of my personal children, hence the name. I still am both of them in several places.

and I'm just plain CRAZY all the time so there ya go.

Hmm...interesting. Now I dig even those parentheses lol...and I'm no longer lost on your location  .

prolly TMI but thanks. I've been around a while so......there ya go.

get Lost In The Translation- it is one of the best cds I own--ever. not a single clinker. wait wait wait for the bonus track--past the silent tracks--to hear Dulce Lady. Howie sez it is his swing at a Whitesnake sound.

Do i really need to reveal my name? i hope it will not create chaos among members, well, the name "WILDCAT" is actually my cousin's username w/c she used to call her German husband , she called him "WILDCAT HONEY KO" , the last word is a tagalog word 'ME or MY in english, it depends on how you used it in tagalog. hence, in english it means, "MY WILDCAT HONEY" i hope i translated it correctly. I'm quite amazed of her used of endearment w/ her husband so that's it, but since i don't have a honey yet, i skip this word. lol!!!! Well. my name is Rebecca Perry oppps!!!!!! i mispell it !!! sorry folks, it's " FERRY"

Welcome back Proggers! :D

ya know--I don't know Rainbow. I should get to know them. maybe you'll guide me. it was the 80s--I was busy reproducing.

I first heard this song when Howieeii Simon blogged that he was doing Rockline Live with Joe Lynn Turner. so I tuned in. and then someone here--THANK YOU!!--uploaded it for me and I burned a cd, just because Hoowie was on it.

I listen to this song at least 2-3 times per week and I love it! I saw JLT in Southbend and was blown away by his voice-- wow.

I hear SC everytime you post anyway so it's good to know I guessed right. THANKS!! (I'm glad it wasn't the wrestling SC. ew)

resume topic. pardon.

Nah...not one detail was dispensable!...Appreciated how the bits weaved into a story. I was just exaggerating a little in an attempt at "humor" lol...JSS sure rocks!

Gotcha Ms. Ferry! This time I'm sure what's 7 and what's 5  .

"MY WILDCAT HONEY" is cool (and how! lol)...it's grammatically correct. I'll just add two other equivalent interpretations considering "WILDCAT" as a monicker, a proper noun: "my honey, Wildcat" and "Wildcat, my honey." :)

Arianddu wrote:Ooo, now you're asking - it was 1986, we were 14, and I'd taken her with me to my cousin's 17th Birthday party on Saturday night. We stayed the night there, and sometime after midnight (when my aunt & uncle went to bed) she had her first drink, I think her first smoke, and got snogged by one of the guys there. Then the next day (well, technically later the same day) we just hung out at my place, and I played her a stack of music, which she really dug. The verdict was that the snog was ok, but the music was better, and we both decided that any boy had to be cooler than the music to get a look in. Funnily enough, not a lot of 14 or 15 year olds matched up, so it was pretty quiet on the dating scene for the next two years

Music - well, not Journey, sorry. Didn't know about them then, they just didn't impact over here. Er, quickly reviewing what I was listening to then, definately a-ha, Cyndi Lauper, AC-DC, The Church, Bangles, Hoodoo Gurus, Simple Minds and Madness. I think that was the day I introduced her to Metallica (if not then, within the next week) for which her uber-conservative-Christian parents branded me spawn of Satan. Probably Dead Kennedys, The Tubes, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Devo and The Clash, 'cause I remember raiding my youngest uncle's record collection and the shit he gave me when I got busted. Don't know if it was that particular day, but certainly within the month I got her into Sting, U2, Megadeth. Pink Floyd, Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Hawkwind, Marillion, Eurythmics, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Go-Betweens, The Cure, Dire Straits, They Might Be Giants, Bronski Beat, XTC, and Talking Heads.

Eclectic little f*ck, wasn't I? 8)

Groovy! The Church is awesome (underrated though)...first heard of them through a very casual cover of Reptile by some group on YT:

My story. Got a computer, went online, and searched for my favorite singer (SP). Found the Journey official site and decided to join and noticed people didn't use their real names.

What to do?! Like the song Walks Like A Lady. Also, I had been called Lady Di even before Diana Spencer. Been told several times I'm a real lady 'cause even though I get mad and might cuss someone out, I apologize for my bad behavior eventually and I expect others to do the same.

Some other nicknames I've had in my life are "Chief" as in Indian chief, "ice princess" 'cause I'm really very shy in person, and "baby strange" 'cause of the T-Rex song. Also, "Goody Goodwitch" 'cause I cackle when I laugh sorta like the witch from Wizard Of Oz.
