aww....I agree with Stevie~Pooh...you're cool as shit, Susie~Q.

It never made sense to me, but I hear it's a HUGE compliment!!!

Yeah, but British sayings never do make sense.
We've had these before, but here's examples,

If something is 'bollocks' it means it's rubbish.
But if something is 'the dog's bollocks' it means it is fabulous.
Go figure.

Steve, do you need a Kleenex?

Maybe some Sanintary pads. What you think Susie?

I don't think steve suffers from the monthly madness. I think he is crazy all the time. But we love him. We are all a bit crazy to put up with each other.
i suffer daily, you have a nice 'grill' by the way

Ok what's a grill? A face? If so, thanks.
We really must compile a dictionary. :? :D

Now THAT would be a fun thread!
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Nope, gob = mouth, as in 'shut your gob.' But if you talk about gobbing on someone, it means spit.

Thanks, my Brit slang is limited to what I remember from 15 years ago when I was in Alconbury, and SummerWine reruns.
