Not too many big regrets to be honest. The mistakes I've made I've corrected for the most part. I just broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years a month ago, but I don't regret a second of it. Can't really think of much I really regret because of what it was... coulda handled certain shit better, but everyone could say that.

Well then, don't add, "I wish I had gotten off my ass when I figured out I wanted to stop drifting and take charge of my life."

You've got about the next 6 1/2 decades to get this one right, Prog.

Make a list; get movin'.

Go around it, rent a jackhammer & break it up into smaller dominos, put Mimi on it & she'll convince it that it really wants to fall over ...

Yep heres my regret, Ill put it down now as I kick myself ever day

When I was at the University of Minnesota I took Astronomy 101. Sitting next to me one day was this hot 2nd generation Asian American girl from Minnetonka (dont remember her name) Anyway we get this assignment to look at the moon for a month.

SHe comes up to me and says wanna do this assigment together.

sizzling hot girl asks you to look at the moon you jump for joy and say "yes please"dont you?

Not me, dumbfuck of the year. Instead what comes out of my mouth was "Love to , got a job working in a bar so am inside a lot of nights, dont really wanna let you down too much , me a square wheel in the project blah blah." What the fuck did I think I was doing?? What would have happened if I d have said yes,

This was in 1993. I still am mad for not saying yes..... Really mad.....

Advice to all you young people, soon you will be ugly, fat, and completely past it. Live whilst you can

Confuscious say "Hot girl tell you to look at moon go look at moon".

Your list all comes under the heading of "If I knew then what I know now." What a shame that experience is the best teacher. :(

Yeah, but you can learn from it; we don't all have to make every single mistake there is to make individually and personally. Prog's list has a pattern, so recognizing the pattern can lead to a big step forward if something is done with that knowledge.

As we say in the education business, we have some teachers with 30 years experience and others with one year of experience they've had 30 times. (You want your kids in the first one's class... :D )

Sadly, yes! I even paid full retail price! The only way not to pay for it was to steal it (and I'm not a thief), or pay a whole lot more than the cost of the shit CD, and attend a concert, with a guy who couldn't sing the catalog! It seemed more cost-effective to just purchase the CD. I'm still waiting for Neal to refund my money

you get that domino from good old fashion elbow grease-and definitely not over night. get up every day, put your boots on and go to work. work don't whine, I have always said.

that's one thing that makes my 2 fav musicians like each other---just hacking away at the thing, day after day, year after year, gig after gig. moving forward not looking back. don't rejoice so much that you quit when you have a success and don't cry so much when you loose that you loose more. just work. recognize when it ain't workin, and move away--focusing on a new venture quickly, with no regrets. retail people say, "if it ain't movin, MOVE IT!"

patience and discipline, young progressive grasshopper. and play the 1st three journey albums regularly for good measure and inspiration.

you can eat an elephant--if you eat it one bite at a time.
