 WTF are they thinking?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Now some "jenius" in the creative thinking department has added a Ford TRUCK as one of the vehicles that KITT can morph into, on top of the already ridiculous pursuit mode vehicle that has the shopping cart spoiler!!! A FUCKING TRUCK?!?!? Sure I expected this show to have a little more advanced features in the KITT department, but they've gone soooo far overboard with this, it just got completely stupid. To make it more interesting, the Mike Traceur twit was killed in the first episode by an FBI agent, only to have it faked so people would quit looking for him. Now he's changed his name to Michael Knight. Didn't see that coming huh? The only saving grace of the entire show is

Deanna Russo 8)

Being a huge fan of "Knight Rider" growing up, that was extremely painful to watch. :(

Someone on Fark.com had a pretty good idea. It involved bringing in the Hoff as the Devon Miles kind of character and taking over Knight Industries, having Mike Traceur be in some explosion leaving him disfigured and having to get plastic surgery (hence bringing in a new, MUCH better actor), and having KITT retooled to a simpler design after being pretty much destroyed in that same explosion. It basically came down to doing a modern remake of the original '82 pilot!

They should try that with Jan Michael Vincent and AirWolf.

I never really watched it much, but I could go for that as long as they keep the theme music. Thats another thing that bugged the hell out of me about Knight Rider, though I guess I'm kinda glad now since I wouldn't want that awesome theme to be tied to this steaming pile of excrement.
