The CD in question is definitely a bootleg. Journey/Sony never authorized, nor released this concert as an official recording.

Don't buy this stuff people. Your throwing good money away when you can get it for free and with a cracking cover to go with it.

Agreed, Wykked. I suppose there's room to argue that in a way you're still taking money from the band (especially if you're in the band...lol!), because somewhere along the line, someone probably paid for it, since that how it was done for so long, but... I agree with you that free trade alright.

Admittedly I've taken part in buying boots, but I've never sold one and I don't plan to. In one case, I bought a couple DVDs (cheap... maybe $10/each) because that was the only way I knew at the time to get them. Everyone starts at a point where they can't trade because they have nothing to trade. What I didn't know or count on was that there are other souces and I didn't need to buy that much.

All it takes is running across one cool person who goes, "hell yeah, I'll hook you up, you will love this..." and that's what happened to me. She knew I didn't have jack to trade and she didn't care. I adopted her method. If you got something I want, then its a win-win for all. If you don't, well, you know what, I don't care. It takes me all of 2 mouse clicks and 2 minutes to copy a dvd.

What almost always happens then, is people know you're cool, and evenetually the situation is turned and they have something and they go... "hey, those dvds were great... thanks... now I have this or that, you want it?"

I didn't forget.
Shoot me a message at some point with the who and where, and I'll zip one off as soon as I buy more blanks.

I have a feeling the publicity here helped the sale. Over 1500 clicks on this thread alone.

Andrew needs to start charging a fee for sale related threads.

Absolute suckers.

All people need to do to obtain stuff like this is to Google.
One site inparticular holds over 250 Journey shows in its vaults.

You are crazy, or obviously have more money than sense to actually buy shit like this.
To actually sell it, and make a profit out of an illegal recording is disgraceful.

Yep... let the buyer beware. I think it's sad some people are dumb enough to get duped by these things on eBay. I also can't believe people sell them. :?
