Neither can Roddick. So he aptly put him to sleep last night.

What is this thread about? :P

It's about Steve Perry's next album.

Very close. ...... That was his brother River Phoenix.

River's death anniversary is today...Halloween btw...just two days after Joaquin's birthday

Have you seen the video of his "announcement" ? It looks like he's stoned off his ass when he talks to the reporter. I think he's a good actor (LOVED him in WALK THE LINE) but he strikes me as a huge dick!

Can't say that I blame him. He'll be forever overshadowed by River (although I'm sure that's not why he's quiting). River was pretty much the most natural actor I've ever seen.

If you haven't caught some of River's, I recommend:

MY Own Private Idaho
Running On Empty
Dogfight and This Thing Called Love.

He's good in even films that weren't that good like Little Nikita.

Joaquin doesn't vary enough in his roles imo. Some roles fit the angry brooding persona but others don't. He won a grammy for music on the Walk The Line though so its probably a good choice.

The Mosquito Coast is another great one.
