I have to say... my absolute favorite song off of ROR is Why Can't This Night Go On Forever... one of those songs I wasn't immediately taken by... slowly but surely grew on me... and now I think it's one of the best Journey songs... EVER. But yeah, Happy To Give is a very close second, now that you mention it.

I agree. There is just something about that song. It represents everything I liked about Journey. Excellent musicianship, great vocal harmonies, and pure passion. The emotion that song provokes is what Journey is all about. It brings back the feel of the "Infinity" days.

I am waiting, and I will buy his first release, and if he does any shows, I will do my best to go. One thing he has always been beholding to his fans is their undying faithfullness. I think some will never give up on him. I for one have not.

Steve seems to be very much in control of his legacy. I think we should know by now that Perry is a perfectionist. You can bet that if he releases something this late in his career, it is going to be something really smooth that will will only solidify his status as The Voice of Melodic Rock.
