A Few Videos of My Band

Postby Voyager » Sat Dec 06, 2008 6:09 pm

Here are a few videos of my band. These aren't the best quality, but it's all I've got right now. These videos were taken at a summer festival gig on Lake Springfield (Springfield, Illinois) that we played in 2006 for about 3,000 people. I think the best ones are the Bon Jovi and the Head East songs. The Def Leppard song has the cool night vision thing going on. BTW - I'm the drummer.

Don't be too harsh on me. The guy who took the video was pretty drunk.

Thanks! He is John Schlitt's brother, Jeff Schlitt. He played keys for John in "Johnny" which was John's gig in between Head East and Petra. They mainly played Head East music, so Jeff knew that stuff well. His vocals sound a lot like John's.

Thanks to everyone who replied! I wasn't sure what kind of response to expect, because the video quality was pretty rough.

Here's a version of "Lady" by Styx that we covered. I played bass and drums on the recording, and we recorded it in my basement studio:

John Schlitt is one of my favorite vocalists ever. I didn't care for him in Head East but his voice really strengthened and matured by the time he joined Petra.

Mine too. I was a big fan while he was in Head East and ever since. I have a YouTube account with some great Head East recordings that are somewhat obscure but really show off John's vocals:
