Outsourcing American Jobs to other countries, allowing the non-stop flood of immigrants into the U.S. and then covering them with all health and financial benefits. CA is so fucked up right now cause the politicians handed out all these benefits to people who don't contribute and now when it's time to pay for it, there's no one's left to pay it all back. I personally know people who, when their relatives in Mexico need an operation or come down with a health issue, they have them come to CA to visit, then while they are here, are brought to the hospital for treatment (at the American tax payer's expense.) Now if that tab is bigger then the amount of money coming into the health care system, we then have a problem. That's the same problem with everything, not just our healthcare system.

The housing market is the same way, 99% of all people that got home loans over the last say 5 years (at least in the San Francisco Bay Area) should never have been given a loan in the first place, but since it's the "American dream", home loans were handed out to people according to the color of their skin, regardless of whether or not they could actually pay the bills or had the credit scores. And that's what fucked up the housing market and that's why it's crashing down now.

Really....I work hard and I'm the problem with America? I've not called in sick or been late to work in over 9 years and I'm the problem? You remind me of a cousin of mine. He's about 46 years old and weighs over 500 pounds but stands about 5 and a half feet tall. He doesn't work and hasn't for about seven years now. I finished my tour after the Persian Gulf War of 91' wrapped up and got out. So basically Deano, the only problem with me is I fought and gave up five years of my life for YOUR freedom. I wouldn't give up on the USA sushi hunter. As someone who spends considerable time in both the USA and Europe, has friends, family, and work colleagues in both places and observes events in both areas, I can tell you the issues faced and the bullshit is the same in Europe, only the entitlement culture you mention is greater, and individual reliance on the state is much greater . (and in return people there get higher tax rates, structural unemployment and poor services). And the political debate over it seems alot less than it is in the US. BTW Im not trying to Europe bash here,( great place) but Im just pointing out that maybe things in the US aint so bad.

By the way congratulations on your service. I was in the USNavy too albeit in a little bit of a softer role than you. I wasn't really bashing Idaho, just defending California and using Idaho to mark the differences. Idaho is mostly barren desert land, with weeds. The panhandle is really beautiful and mountainous, but the lower 2/3rds is sagebrush. I should have used Wyoming instead.
