He's just edging the others out in the poll.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I always wondered if he was a midget. He sat so low behind the drums.

What the fuck is Paul Giamatti doing with Randy? I thought Sideways was a few years off? And why is he wearing a pink lid?

Steve Smith tops the list because he was part of "classic Journey". That would be the Journey that had the most hits ,record sales and biggest venues ! The rest contributed to the success of the various configurations of the band.

Was it a heart attack, Rick? I thought it was a car accident. There was something in an old SP interview about it.

I picked Smitty, for the reasons Squirt posted above.

I think the person killed by a car accident was his drummer for Alien Project.

Bass player, not drummer.

Yep, Smitty is probably the best technically whom i voted for .....but I have to tell ya, when it comes to live Deen's a lot more fun to watch. Not sure what it is, but he just exudes a passion for his craft up there on stage and has one hell of a voice and is one hell of a nice guy

Smitty is also very nice and very gracious with his Fans

No, I didn't mean the bass player for AP, Richard Michaels. Larrie London's passing came up at a different time. We SPoons scoured for all his past interviews (archived on the various fan sites). SP said he was saddened to have heard the news. Forgot what it said the cause was ... thought it was driving on some long highway ... might have been heart attack ...

yikes ... just came in tonight to see what's going on before going to bed ... and getting hit with a 12-page thread about SP making an album. 3 hours later, and I'm still reading ... and awake.

I want to see Matthew weigh in about this. I feel a kinship with him, as we became SP fans and discovered messageboards about the same time. We have been through all the SP rumors. God, please, don't let it flame out this time. I really think it's now or never.
