Kip Winger: Yeah, I just want to say that I read what Joe Elliott [DEF LEPPARD] said, slagging off bands like POISON and WINGER. I've gotten used to being the punching bag, I take it all! But POISON is really good live and Bret Michaels' own response to Joe was awesome. I also love DEF LEPPARD and I think they're a great band. But if Joe Elliott wants to meet me at an L.A. club of his choice with an acoustic guitar, leave the Pro Tools at home and I'll open up a can of whoop-ass on him!
Good for him. Tito and I saw Kip at Jim Peterik's World Stage and he brought the house down. His solo shit is rocking. Of course he also played Seventeen and Headed For A Heartbreak. Those songs are ok.
Tito brought the house down? He must have had Terry Funk with him. Terry Funk is a bad sombitch.I need to bring terry with me at the next Journey concert

Listen to this song and call Winger gay with a straight face. I DARE you.

Also.. my girl's EIGHTEEN, thanks.. and she likes Winger. This was BEFORE I got ahold of her, too!

I personally think Winger's one of the best melodic rock bands out there, but meh.. can't please 'em all, can we Kippers?

"Pull" is a great album! Very underrated and, unfortunately, didn't get the proper attention it should have back in the day (thanks 'grunge' :P ).

Say what you will, but my avatar says it all! And, if you were there in CT last year with us, you would be saying that, too. 8)

I positively love Reb Beach! I have always loved his playing. I met him once and was very pleased to find that he is one of the nicest guys in the business, too.

That's for sure, he da man! :) I wouldn't have my sig pic if it wasn't for him. Jeff told me to come around the table for a pic with him and EM and the security guy stopped me and said "nobody behind the table." :( Kip called me over a few minutes later and walked me right behind the table over to them......took my camera and took a couple pictures......screw the security guy. KW is way cool in my books. Proggie I hope you get a chance to meet him, nice guy. Put on a great accoustic set! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuIDioc03HA
