I'm running this on windows 7 right now. Nice so far, everything works. Clean install took about 45 minutes, The specs on this pc, Pentium 4 with a gig of ram. Sound and video built into the motherboard. No slow down or anything yet. Works just like XP.

This Dell I'm testing on is about 4 years old but sound video and usb ports all work fine without me installing any drivers and Avast loaded no problem. The Beta should be good through August so I'll just leave it until then.

I'm really tempted to try that. I just did a reinstall this weekend and have this thing running like a top. Watch me fuck up my computer.

If your only going to use one PC, I would duelboot. Partition magic 8.0 and up lets you partition right inside windows. Of course you can do it during this install also. It didn't like Comodo Fire Wall but that's been the only hiccup.

I just went and read up on it. I had installed Vista as a dual boot setup, and used Vistas Boot Configuration Data Editor to do it initially. I used Partition Magic 8 to remove it and merge it back. Worked flawlessly. So I'm thinking about just using Partition Magic to create the partition because I don't know what state Windows 7 is in, or if it even has a BCD Editor as of yet. I'm a little nervous to try this.

It will allow you to upgrade the Vista OS. for XP it would have to be a clean install. I would just make a 30 gig partition and use that for it.

After disabling the secondary monitor it works fine. Now I just have to do some peeking under the hood of this thing. Looks pretty cool.
