Any rumors on partner for 2009 Summer Tour?

I thought Journey didn't want to be an opening act? Even with Paul Rodgers, I can't see Queen opening or co-headlining with anybody.

I don't think the album sales matter that much. They were playing stadiums last summer, they're a music icon.

I'm talking about Queen. The closest Journey's been to headlining a Stadium show the last 20 years was playing the beer garden at the SuperBowl.

bryan adams opened for rod stewart last year so opening for journey is similar
the pay would still be the same
i thought Q+PR were touring with kiss
how about triumph opening for journey.

Triumph is supposed to start a world tour this year and I would love to see them - if they open for Journey, that would be such a great concert!
