This was the reason I went because I never had the chance to see Journey with S.P. and when I heard S.A. I thought man this guy is good.
He was really good early on, he got me into Journey
Hopefully someone has one of these clips. Deano maybe?? I guess I was very fortunate to hear it. They played it during a lunch hour on a classic rock station.
Yeah I had that song, in fact, I also had a demo radio version tape of SA singing all the classics and thee band sent them to radio to "convince" them they were good enough to be played. The verdict came in and "no" was the collective answer. The Perry cuts will always be supreme, no matter how much the two dipshits don't want them to be.
Fuck, I had golden stuff, back when I was a pretty good fan, and really cared about them and actually dug for shit...Then my sterling 195 dollar computer decided to take a huge dump and I lost everything. I still have the discs, and could reburn them onto my computer, but nowadays, the fire is not there..in fact it ain't even lit.
Thanks for the feedback Deano. I can't recall if the clip I heard was live or studio but I do know for sure it was to introduce SA to promote an upcoming concert, had to be 98 or 99 when they toured with Foreigner. Maybe someday the fire will be lit again for you. I'm sure most of us here would have jumped this dysfunctional ship a long time ago if the songs written with SP hadn't been so addictive and such a huge part of our younger years. I will always be grateful to SA for stepping in to continue the Journey, otherwise I would have never gotten the chance to see Journey live. Good luck with TS and the solo project! I'd like to wish JSS all the best, I think he did a great job in relief

He certainly didn't deserve to be treated the way he was. I also wish Arnel the best, it's always good to see a rags to riches story. In the end it's all about the songs and what they mean to each of us, not the antics of the band members. Blessings to you and your family.
