Post Voice Disk

So - not trying to start anything. Just think this is kind of funny. I'm not really into the post-Steve Perry Journey that much. The stuff is alright, but to me it's really nothing compared to the work they did with Perry. I don't hate it, I just never listen to it.

I have a friend that is very into the newer stuff. So I thought I would give the post Perry albums another listen, just to be fair. Again, it's not all bad - it just doesn't inspire me much. I will say this - after going back and listening as fairly as I could - outside of a few songs, Generations is one heaping pile of crap - in my opinion. I cannot listen to the thing all the way through.

So then we were talking about it and I told him I was going to make a Post-Voice CD of the songs I could listen to. I say post-voice only to be funny (although it's how I feel). So I did that tongiht and here is the song list. The first CD I consider to be songs that range from good to pretty good. The second CD are mostly songs I can just tolerate for a listen once a year. The ones I left off don't pass muster with me - even though my second CD is about 2 songs short of the 75-80 minute limit I was looking for. Believe me - disk 2 was difficult for me to get that far.

Now - I know most people here love all this stuff, so trust me - I am not saying I know everythng. This is simply my opinion.
