Train wrecks are great when they are AI, but last time I saw this show was when Fantasia won it, and that was awful as well. Carrie Underwood is pretty cool though, very cute and a decent singer.

It is very unfortunate, all the little clones just simply have bad taste when it comes to good music. *shakes head in disgust*. It's like voting off Steve Perry in the first round in a singing contest.

I'm going to allow that you're just very upset and talking out of your head here and I'm going to ignore that Fantasia comment.

If it's any consolation, Perry very well may have been voted out of the first round of a singing contest back in the day. He wasn't always as revered as he is today. Probably doesn't help much, but, the point I'm trying to make is sometimes great artists simply aren't recognized in their day.

Yes that's true, a lot of great artist's are not given recognition they deserve. And I know this has been discussed in the past here many times, but can you imagine what would happen to somebody like Bob Dylan in a singing contest? oh the horror it would become.

And the Fantasia comment was more or less a statement of the "entire show" over all, and not directed at the winner. What was the name of the other finalist, Latoya London or something? who I felt was better IMO. Although not much is happening with all the former IDOLS these days.
