Well, knowing who they want to win, and accusing AI of being "rigged" are two different things.............
.................... Now, I do believe there a little subliminal influences and "cues" from the judges and the production of the show that may direct the audience to respond more favorably to certain contestants.

Agreed. Like the sob stories they saturate us with to try and get people to vote out of sympathy rather than in praise of talent.
Thing is, they pulled the sob story card with Danny Gokey this year because his wife passed away - but they don't need to subliminally influence people to vote for him. He has a fabulously soulful voice and can garner votes on that alone.
I'm sure he would reach the final without any of that stuff. And if I thought about it more I'd probably think it is an insult to his talent for them to use his bereavement as a marketing tool. Exploitative, even. However, he must have said it was ok for them to do that.
So yes, it is rigged in that way.
P.S. I think Danny might actually win.

Oh, that's just the obvious stuff (that goes without saying). I actually think it's even more insidious than that. In my opinion, the words the judges use to critique certain contestants are as persuasive as the performances themselves. I get the sense that the judges are already manipulating the voting just by their responses to the contestants without having to rely on outright rigging.
P.S. I also think Danny has a strong chance.

Yeah, it's called vicodin. She loves that stuff.
