Here's "Two Hearts". I don't know what album it's from...

Here's a cool Lukather song I'd never heard before too. Sounds very cool, and almost have a Giant sound to it....very cool! :D

Here's one of my favorite ballads of all time. "I Will Remember You". Don't know why this wasn't a HUGE hit? :? Hope you enjoy it. I can't ever get enough of this type of music.

That Luke song, Lonely Beat Of My Heart, was from his 1st solo album "Lukather" back in 89' I believe....Luke co-wrote this one with Diane Warren, yes THAT Diane Warren  , and if you listen closely you can hear Richard Marx in the backing vox....

That's interesting about Diane Warren...have you all heard the Luke solo album demos? Some 'interesting' songs on there, a totally different vibe.

Lukather, his 1st album, was filled with cameo's by some of LA's finest blue chips, Richard Marx, Eddie Van Halen, Jan Hammer, Steve Stevens, Diane Warren, Jeff Porcaro, Dave Paich (oh, Dave also plays the organ on LBOMH), Carlos Vega, Lenny Castro, Mike Landau, Randy Goodrum, etc...

Huh..??? Luke's solo album demo's..? No, I don't believe I have...have you..?

Do tell! :D

There's a song called 'If You Break my heart' and 'Twisted' that are really good...Then there's a mediocre duet with an unknown female, a ballad called ' Looking for somebody like you' then there's a demo of Anna and Second Chance..

pm me if interested and I'll see what I can do - cheers

Thanks for the demo's ...very very intresting...!

Especially the TOTO demo's....I assume those 3 tracks were supposed to be for Farenheit..? And who would have known that 1 of those tracks would end up on Luke's 1st solo album....

And that 'na-nah' song....damn, if it came out back then, it would have given I'll Be Over You a run for its money, IMO....

Those demos were awesome! Thanks. I wonder if there are any more out there? Surely there has to be after all the years that Toto's been around? I'd also love to hear demos from Chicago. Anything from early 80's on that is. Anyone know of any? :D
