Don't know you or your friends, Madsplash, but has it occurred to you that your friends are pulling your leg?

That's what I said, Fan Asylum.

And which friend is pulling my leg about what? What are you talking about? I said back in October that SP had been recording more than just "demos" and was scoffed at. Now it's a FACT that he has been.

My leg sure doesn't FEEL pulled.

No. When Steve Perry makes an official announcement, it's a fact. Until then, it remains rumour and speculation.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

No. Not doing that at all. So you've now confirmed there is a release date, we just can't quite get the SPECIFIC date yet. OK, that's cool. I'm sticking with November.

no. not confirming anything at all. so now you're continuing your obnoxious posts. ok, that's cool. i'm sticking with my suspicion of your motive.

Madsplash, do you know who Cyndy is? Or Lora Beard?

Well, I think I do. Fan Asylum, correct? If not, please enlighten me.

We keep trying to enlighten you, but you keep turning the lights off! LOL!

No, Lora and Cyndy are mystical figures, they muse great things about Perry and enlighten us with their guesses about him.

They are not informed at all, they pail to your genius and have absolutely no clue as to what goes on for Steve. Just because Steve puts his official statements on Fan Asylum is immaterial.

He has Lora's office cat dictate for him, the girls are not allowed in the room.

Actually, no they can't tell you anything they know and if they do, they should be reprimanded or fired. It does not matter whether it is a physician bound by confidentiality or the desk clerk. I worked at a pharmacy as a cashier once and even there it was made very clear that people's prescriptions or personal information are private and not to discuss them with anyone. If, for example, some hospital worker saw SP in the hospital, found out he was a patient, and then checked the posted surgeries - first of all, it was none of their bloody business! And then to tell you or anyone else was unprofessional to say the least.

Unfortunately I am well aware that this stuff happens - that does not make it right. What business is it of yours to be posting another person's private medical information (real or assumed) on a public message board? This really crossed the line.

Oh, chill out. I'm not posting anyone's "private medical information". I'm just saying what I've been told. If people knew HALF of what went on in hospitals, it would shock them.

I wish our world was 5% as perfect as some people think that it is.

Not trying to pile on or anything but the statement posted above is correct.

Having myself worked in Health Care for nearly 15 years (geez it's been that long - LOL) I know first hand that no information (no matter how vague) can be discussed with anyone w/o written consent from the patient. Several people in our organization have been fired for this lately and unfortunately it happens more than we want to admit. (they even watch people online..hint hint)

As one of the admins of all patients' (clinical and financial) records for our organization (I work at the corporate offices) I'm reminded quite often of people who make that mistake.

Splash do yourself a favor whoever told you that...tell them to be quiet not do it anymore. It will simply cost them their job. We all know that jobs are hard to come by these days.

Yes...unfortunately some crazy things happen in hospitals...I could literally write a sitcom about them. :)
