I would post about a Journey album, but apparently Mike saw fit to lay claim to every album they've released. Oooooohhhhh, just thought of one he hasn't...

I saw his show a few years ago, wasn't a HUGE fan, but loved the stage show, and the orchestra he was touring with. He's an incredible songwriter and his voice has really held up through the years.
I think "
Weekend In New England" is just an incredible song.
I agree Bobby! I forgot about that song. I just remembered that several years ago, he did a concert that was aired free on Direct T.V., and the concert was amazing! He had an orchestra accompany him, and I was very impressed. I wish I had a copy of that now. I do pick on him for acting like Richard Simmons, but he is an amazing singer. I don't get his version of the damn Journey song though...go back to originals Barry!

He's been doing those songs of the '50's, 60's, 70's and 80's and I think his brain overshot his vocal chords when he picked "Open Arms". I know this is pissy to say, but I don't want to hear too many people do that song and the ones I do want to hear better be a male tenor or an exceptionally voiced female.
I like the idea of redoing songs, but some are just too iffy to touch.
