It's good that you accept that it sucks, because it does (at least in my opinion). You also have a legitimate point about the screaming. The problem is that there are without question Loons out there who think that Perry, in that clip, is better than Augeri/Arnel/Soto combined on their best days.

Monker in a well known interview Perry said he had been screaming for 4 days. I will try and find it for you. And yes he sounded bad, after 4 days of singing and trying to sing with tone deaf ball players.

Excuse after excuse. He was yelling a bit. He didn't warm up. He hasn't performed in years. Blah, blah, blah. He toured it to pieces during ROR. His voice sucked at Bill Graham tribute. He couldn't keep it together for the FTLOSM tour. There was a radio show a couple years after TBF....and his voice sounded like crap then too. So, Perry's excuses are a bit unbelievable when he has not been able to keep his voice together for almost two decades.

Hell, it sounded to me like the players had to lower their voices to match Perry's. A very sad thing.

Yet more pathetic excuses for those trying to obtain the unobtainable. Let the poor guy retire in peace. I'm not what I was 20 years ago and I sure the hell don't expect anyone else to be. He doesn't scream 365 days per year, so there musta been some time in there where he could have belted out a tune or two...were he capable. Sometimes, I'm even too much of a realist for my own taste.
