Let's hear some of your faves - I REALLY like albums that include a "Making Of" DVD. A few of my recent faves:
Burton Cummings - Above The Ground - Features a great "Making Of" disc that has all kinds of cool stuff... shows them fucking around with different arrangements, vocal takes, guitar solos, showing the band recording harmonies together at the same mic, split screen recording footage when they are overdubbing different vocals, and some humor. Really great stuff
Springsteen - Working On A Dream - Another good making of disc, although it plays more like rough music videos recorded in a recording studio compared to the Burton. Not nearly as much of an "inside glimpse," but cool nevertheless
REO - Find Your Own Way Home - I really like the XM unplugged DVD on here, they sound great and there's a cool arrangement or two on old favorites
Rev woulda made it for the Vegas DVD if it weren't truncated to shit and had some production.
