People are also rediscovering the beauty of Journey music….beautiful and catchy lyrics of Jon Cain and the riffs and licks of Neal Schon’s guitar that make Journey songs distinct.

Ultimately, it’s still because of “Journey the band”.

Beautiful and catchy lyrics? You have got to be kidding me? I can write that mushy shit on my work break. The stuff he writes is so simple and cheesy fluff, it's downright embarrassing. Sure, Faithfully and a few others are nice, but the following sap is the same shit inverted and reversed.

Maybe Chubby321 is Tito.

I already had that thought, and now more than ever believe it.

I am not Tito, I swear

Yes beautiful and catchy…songs that tell your story, your unconditional love for someone, your struggles in life, songs that feel your pain, give you hope, lift you up when your down.

Simple and cheesy? Maybe but those same songs have “charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak” (William C.)

I'll attest to that. In the worst, darkest times of my life, music kept me going. I'm not sure why or how I am so connected to music, but it's a damn good thing it was there when I needed it.

No doubt, Rick. I was out for a jog today, and kind of struggling in spots. As soon as a certain song hit, I could actually feel the adrenalin in my body perk up. I went on to kick the course's ass. No doubt music pumps life into your veins.
