Yeah, it was my birthday too on the 12th of May!

Whoops, belated Happy Birthday Vladan! Hope it was a great day!

I had a shitty birthday, that started with taking my sick cat to the vet where I was told he was dying of renal cancer, and I had to make the decision to have him put down. My 37th birthday ranks as the worst of my life.

But my friends from all over the world pulled together and made me smile and laugh with their pictures, jokes and birthday greetings. Guys, you made a horrible, painful day bearable, and knowing that people I have never met in real life have been so generous with their thoughts, support, love and caring has made this week much easier to deal with.

Oh, Ari, I'm so sorry. You've been through so much already with your mom and what a decision to have to make. I've been there at Christmas with my cat of 12 years old with cancer. Hard decision. Here's hoping your 37th year, although getting off to a bad start, will be everything you wish for for yourself.
