Cook and Archuleta performing together

I see they are doing a show in the Philippines at the same venue Journey had theirs. I didn't realize they were so popular overseas. Good for them.

I saw them both with the Idols concert last year and I took my daughter to see Archuleta a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised what a great voice he has. It was a good concert.

Rumor is 41,000 tix have been sold. With the giant screens outside the venue, it is estimated over 100,000 will see the show. The Pinoys are serious about this!

I didn't know they were popular anywhere. From what I have heard of their material (or lack thereof), I hear nothing that would make them popular artists.

The Idol performers are always on the radar right after their season ends. They will eventually fade away, like most have. The really talented ones, like Kelly, Carrie, and Daughtry, will be around. I think those three are the top sellers from Idol. There are others who tour. Carrie is a definite star.

Well, it's obvious you aren't listening to the radio much and sticking to your own downloaded music
And David Cook will do every bit as well as Daughtry and Clarkson have done. He is on the same path. You can hate Idol, I dont' even watch it. But they ARE putting out some artists that definitely have "popularity" and talent. Archuletta is young and his music is geared for younger girls, so I can see him fading as time goes on. David Cook will go further. I love his entire album!-

Cook needs to tear up any fkin contract that requires him to perform at the same gig as that heavy breathing manlookingmidget Archuleta. That tounge licking, drooling, heavy breathing, out of breath singing Archuleta is freaky.

He's probably still under Idol's contract so he has to do what they tell him to. Cook has played the college circuit.
