Tonight was a fantastic episode all around and I could probably blather on about how amazing it was for hours; all the characters were played to perfection, but one standout that I have to give props for was Chevy Chase's portrayal of Ted Roark. From a man who has been under the radar for the past several years and has only a strong history in comedy, Chevy made for an entertaining villain. Even his final scene as it were showed an interesting character; he didn't try to fight it or cry or resist, just the "pfft, should have seen this coming" expression.

If this show dies before Chuck and Sarah have sex and get married (in that order), I'll be pissed.

No way they're dropping this show with that ending.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles is struggling too, even though the show itself has kept getting better while the ratings lag. I was pretty stunned by the 'season finale' and it is geared toward continuing...which leaves a lot of questions to be answered. That is the worst way to end a show...

Welcome to the Nerd Herd, Zedul. My only gripe with Chuck! is the spy action sequences, they can step it up a notch and make it more believable. Too often somebody threatens to shoot and gets interrupted when you know they could've gotten' the shot off.

But for pure entertainment, its become my favorite show as well.

As for MR, 7 months of lurking? :shock:

Zedul has always been my screen name... since way way back on the old Skylord message boards in the 90's.

If you google "Zedul" or "Jeff Bowlin" you can basically find me everywhere. Cept here! I lurk mostly because I am super busy and can only find the time to post on Maui Tom's board. But there aren't any Chuck fans there. Which is surprising because "Anyway You Want It" is Chuck's ringtone!

Now... back to your regularly scheduled stuff!

I don't often post just because I have said almost everything there is to say about Journey through the years, but Chuck threads are a totally different matter!

Yea... they cut the budget, so the whole buy more cast will be gone, and there probably won't be any more big guest stars like Chevy Chase, Scott Bakula and Jordana Brewster - but hopefully they can still tell great stories.

Leno should do a Brett Favre and retire already (only he should mean it). Johnny Carson was a class act; anything that comes out of Leno's mouth is piddly in comparison.

I haven't seen that announced. Only speculated that you'll see less of them and may not see all the characters in all the episodes.
