Steve Smith Solo - 1983

Very cool solo from Steve Smith at Zildjian Day, 1983. It's pretty much a 10 minute version of his solo from the Frontiers tour. Much more intricate and heavier than the Departure and Escape solos, but still way different from what he's been doing as of late. I really enjoyed his playing style at this time. Enjoy!

He is no slouch here but today he is in a whole different league than he was in 83.

No doubt. He's really gone into an almost untouchable mode. Super human.
