Yes.

Was just watching this vid again, my first introduction to Talisman, such an amazing bassist. Have always loved bass and definitely one of my fave intros. Got teary eyed watching that, so I can just imagine the loss you and Jeff are feeling right now of such a long time friend and bandmate. RIP Marcel.

That was my first Talisman song too. Took me twenty minutes to pick my jaw off the floor when I heard that bass groove.

Farewell to a man who held a great talent and expressed himself through music and shared his gift with all.
His gift and memory of him will live on in the minds and hearts of all who heard him play and those that knew him.
My deepest condolences to his family, Jeff and the other members of the band and his friends and fans.
His restless spirit is at peace.

This is such sad news.

I knew Marcel for almost 2 decades and he was one of the most gracious, friendly , loving person I have ever known.....

My friend - i did not have the luck to know Marcel - but i was always charmed by his grace and decency - i am EXTREMELY shocked and cut up by this. I wish his family and friends all the best. His posts could be illuminating and evocative - but not provocative - if you know what i mean.
