This actually changed my mind on Taylor Swift. I always found her kinda bland and overrated.....but this joke takes some creative thinking.

she used to be hot. Back in the days of "Days of Thunder" she was intense. Too damn much platic surgery, its the worst thing for these stars. They never know when to quit.

I'm fine with Taylor Swift. The CrossRoads episode with Leppard was very cool, I thought.

agreed, Drew. I despise country and the "scruffy' look but ya just can't deny this talent. This is the ONLY country album I own.

dig this....

At least it was different. I applaud Def Leppard for trying to stay relevant In today's marketplace. They could just go and tour like Journey and everyone else does but they took a chance at being different, even if some people did think it made them look silly.

Most young artists go out there and take a crack at Open Arms or some othe sappy shit, I think it's cool that Taylor did something totally alien to her style of music.

Sort of like Mariah covering "Bringing On The Heartbreak". It might be shit but it's different and it pays homage to the music I like, so that's cool in my book.

I haven't heard enough Taylor Swift to decide whether she can sing or not. I DID see her perform with Def Leppard on some award show and she sounded gawd awful trying to sing DL. I won't judge her on just that one performance though.

One of the better crossroads I would think would probably be the Pat Benatar/Martina McBride one, I've only seen a song or 2 from it, but THERE is 2 ladies that can sing circles around most!

Oh, and Keith Urban is the shiznit! Very talented. :) Ok, and extremely easy on the eyes.

Well, pertaining to 90% of her music, that's true. I'm glad you thought it was a great idea though. That's what I was getting at.

What about Miley Cyrus? I think she CAN sing.

MM carried Pat through a lot of those tunes. I love Benatar and have seen her quite a bit but like Ann Wilson, she's losing her range a little, still worth it though as she is the original, just like Perry, Ann, Moody Blues, Jeff Lynne, etc. They get my money for simply being the ones that gave me those musical memories in the past, no statute of limitations on that kind of stuff.

Absolutely.

But check Keith out....the guy is just so natural on stage....a star.

well Keith Urban is one of my favorite guitarists ever. The guy has great fingers...and anyone that can solo the end of 'somebody to love' while singing the lines, is talented....
