I was not able to go to Woodstock but I do remember when I first saw the movie, I cried, from just experiencing even a little of the joy, freedom and optimisim that that event represented. The music was incredible and much of it still stands the test of time today.

It was an awesome feeling being so in tune with nature, sleeping under the stars, music blaring all hours of the night, rain, mud, Joe Cocker, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez --- & who can forget Hendrix!?!?!? Not to mention all the free love & the smell of pot that hovered throughout the air. You got a buzz whether you intended to or not. I wish I could go back & do it all over again. Woodstock was unbelieveable!!!! Such a sureal moment in all our lives. I'll never experience anything quite like that ever again.

Very funny Jason.Just remember, if it wasn't for the sexual revolution that began in the late 60's, you'd still be hiding in the closet.

Yes, you got me there & I truly do appreciate it. I only wish my generation could have had a Woodstock all our own & I don't mean that shameful, disgrace of a Woodstock remake they staged a decade ago which I admit I was a part of. Not the melee that occurred, just the audience I was a part of. It was a blast up until some idiots had to ruin it. Thank God I don't remember much. (Don't ask me why.)Let's just say there is a pharmacutical explanation for that.

I suggest you stay away from the brown acid. The brown acid is not too good.
Did you see this while you were there.

Dude, you better take that stuff to the OT Banter thread. These ladies have been very nice to me & I don't want to make any enemies. Some of them ain't used to that raw edginess that makes you so loveable, Steve.

Excellent, good variety of old and semi old, rarely heard tracks (deep cuts I guess you'd call them?). Reminds me of the great rock stations that USED to exist in the late 80's.
Here they are online, check it out.

KSWD 100.3
Another plus, they don't have the lame morning show comedy jocks.
Woodstock - they're running a remembering Woodstock thing right now. Heard lots of the good stuff.
Canned Heat - Going To The Country
