At least you don't post things like "there was a spider in my shower this morning"

LOL...yah, Ive seen plenty of things like that! Tho, I do like Facebook better then Myspace nowadays! 8)

Ditto.. I've run into some peeps that I havent seen or heard from in 20 years. FB is pretty cool IMO. It's like a highschool reunion
without the weirdness. 8)

**note to self** Cyndy likes weird quizes.. check!

LOL! Right!!! Once you get use to the difference from Myspace to Facebook, its actually NOT that bad! I still have both...cant seem to get rid of the Myspace!! Is that an addiction???

Annoying Facebook Type #1 wrote:The Let-Me-Tell-You-Every-Detail-of-My-Day Bore. "I'm waking up." "I had Wheaties for breakfast." "I'm bored at work." "I'm stuck in traffic." You're kidding! How fascinating! No moment is too mundane for some people to broadcast unsolicited to the world. Just because you have 432 Facebook friends doesn't mean we all want to know when you're waiting for the bus.

I don't know what catagory I am in, I only have it to keep up with my married daughter and husband, but have friends from my everyday life, church, and some from MR on it. I really neglect to look at it much unless I get a notice someone has sent me a message. I reply to messages, but seldom do any of the quizzes, groups, etc........I just don't have the time.

I don't think I would put you into any of those categories, Ginger. The closest one to describing you would probably be the Sympathy Baiter b/c you will let people know when you "haz a sad," but I don't think you fit that category with the intent that it was written. It seems a little mean-spirited to me.

I think if you have friends online and you discuss your ups and downs that is not exactly sympathy baiting. Especially since on facebook I am talking to close friends and family mostly. I thought that was friends discussing life. But I am not down all the time, so I think the sympathy baiting would be for people like a Debbie Downer.............

I agree about the writer being a bit mean spirited. So what catagory would the writer be..........cranky crumudgeon who judges the world according to his standards? I know there are things that bug us all online, I am guilty of griping about a few myself.............but if what you write has to fit the criteria that would never annoy anyone...........would there be anything left to write?
