And that is the point of The Onion.
By the way, regarding the meatwich w/ cheese. NOM. Chicken? Yes. Bacon? YES! Cheese... um, what kind of cheese is that supposed to be exactly? I have a sneaking suspicion the cheese funks up the whole party.

YUM! Now that looks tasty, but those KFC bowls are nasty!!!! Chicken, potatos, gravy, corn, cheese & whatever else they throw on there. ICK!!!! It looks like the stuff you scrap of the plate AFTER you're finished eating.

I know the Onion article is a joke, but I remember being annoyed that they wouldn't give me a burger at 5am once. That's what I was craving and I knew they had them back there, dammit.

No, I did not wait around til 11 :p

New KFC Sandwich: Cheese And Bacon Between Two Pieces Of Chicken

Is it an Atkins diet dream, or just a stunning show of gluttony?

In April of this year, KFC debuted its ' Kentucky Grilled Chicken,' a departure from its standard extra crispy (read: deep-fried) fare. Now, the chain seems to have pulled a complete 180, introducing the 'Double Down,' a fried chicken sandwich with cheese, bacon and Colonel's sauce. Except here's the kicker: There's no bread. The chicken fillets do the job.

The sandwich is apparently being tested in two American markets: Providence, R.I. and Omaha, Neb.

The 'Double Down' sandwich is $4.99.

I think I found my new favorite food of all-time without even trying one. As you all know, anything is better with bacon & cheese. Even bacon & cheese is better with extra bacon and cheese.

So, whats the special sauce?
