when they dumped Steve Perry?

Steve Perry refused to work so they moved on without him. Considering he had little/no voice left, never planned on touring with them anyway and has put on exactly zero since then, I'd say they made the right move. But they waited for him to tour for over a decade, so don't give me this "dumped Steve Perry" bullshit. It's just not true.

And here I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I mean, c'mon, how long were they supposed to put their lives on hold & wait for Perry's return?

+2. I love Perry, but come on, the dumped him line is old. They waited a long time, '86 to '96 the first time, while Perry was not doing anything or messing around with one solo album that didn't go and then did another later. Journey wasn't exactly on his mind.
