Yeah, pretty much sums things up with Chubby :) poor girl, can't hate her though, however! she is somewhat misguided when it comes to Journey, it's actually rather frustrating reading through her last response, I can totally understand why you didn't even bother.

I'll call chubby321 misguided when she posts the GPS coordinates of Arnel's house

Isn't it underwater? There was some incoherent post on Journey's site mentioning that.

At least now he could afford to buy another one. That was a hell of a lot of rain. Poor people!

I didn't lose my house when Pinatubo Blew but all my possessions were stolen after wards. The Air Force had been adamant about everyone videotaping their belongings when we knew the eruption was eminent, so I got paid for everything with minimum fuss but it still sucked, as some of my stuff had come from Japan and Thailand and was very difficult to replace.
Of course, when I worked in the refugee center in Porac, I saw people a million times worse off than me, giving me reason to be thankful that I'm an American. There is no legitimate support system there when shit like this happens. Most of the people running the relief centers were European, American or Aussie. It's just a bad situation.

I remember that time in the Philippines when Mt. Pinatubo blew up. I was there too. I had to evacuate to Cebu by ship and then fly out to Japan from there. What an adventure! Clark was evacuated and then the base was a friggin free for all. People were even stealing the huge freezers out of the commissary. And then a day or so later the people who were stealing anything and everything from Clark got their payback when the bowling ball sized mud clumps were slamming down to earth on them. One thing for sure, an errupting volcano and a strong typhoon do not mix!
I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
