you can clearly see arnel clapping his hands from afar. he was about to approach rolie but didnt have the chance.
rolie's back was turned.

I don't believe that anyone was serious about that comment!! I would think that
no matter what ones feelings are of AP as frontman, there is one

Interesting.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. I doubt that idea was part of the original thought, but now that they've recently touched base, it might become part of the project.

But even if Journey went away for awhile, I'd still love to see Piranha Blues II or another Abraxas Pool. Bring in 'whoever' for guest spots, including you-know-who.

That is awesome Linda, love your av too! Deen sounds beautiful as always! I'm a Deen loon :D lol

You and me both! Greg's getting a little pitchy on that one. But, beautiful to hear LIVE none the less, love that song! Thanks Linda. That's Deb's head dancin' up a storm in the corner of the shot there, isn't it?!

Thanks, Mel & yes, Deb, that's Debbie's head ... and Ken's right at the beginning. We were all lined up on the front row right in front of Ross ... I was trying to hide behind them as I filmed because security was rightthere in front of us ... got busted after 90 seconds anyway.

Apparently Deb and I got flashed up on the big screen singing along with Don't Stop Believin' too ... one of my colleagues stuck his head in my office yesterday and said, "I hear you were at Journey in Austin last night ..." One of the college staff members who was at the concert spotted me on the screen and couldn't wait to rat me out ...

Put Rolie on the next album and it will outsell Revelation.

I think Rolie has made it pretty clear that at this point in his career, he's more into performing music like Oye Como Va rather than songs like After All These Years.

Yes but what a way to cap off the career. Rolie on the last (two?) albums. No problem with him not touring extensively with them. Just him guesting would be a treat.

It really would be. Sadly, I think Gunny is correct. We're not going to see Gregg anytime soon....unless it's a one off guest appearance...

That brought a tear to my eye. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

That brought a tear to my eye, too. I was only lucky enough to see Journey live when Gregg was in the band a couple of times and this video sure brings back memories. I got to know Gregg & his wife Lori back in the 1980s when we had the Journey softball team. Gregg was the team pitcher and we'd hang out at games. He and his family are the best. I'm sorry we lost touch.

Me 3.... dang, I am still SO sorry to have missed this! Happy B-day to you, Deb! I'm happy you and Linda were there!!!! Thanks for sharing, Lora... Gregg has always seemed like a very down to earth guy!

I know, right? The next night when they kicked into "Just the Same Way" in OKC (no GR, dammit), I'm going apeshit, and everybody around me is like "Whut?"

Damn casual fans.
