Yeah I definetly prefer the original we are the world. In my opinion much better singers in the 85 one and I like the artists alot better too.

One cool thing to note is Heart did make an appearence on the Haiti version, which they were not a part of in 85. Ann should of definetly been on the 85 version. Also always wondered why Foreigner's Lou Gramm was never on the original we are the world, they were huge at the time.

In my opinion, you can't improve upon perfection. The original version sports most of the icons of music in one room. And they all worked together, sharing mics and being a team. I didn't really see much of that in the new version.

I'll take the original any day!

The remake is a hot mess..but their hearts were in the right place .. one cannot remake perfection the original version was that and more.
