A song that rips the breakdown of one of their best songs is one of their best songs? It sure doesn't have originality.

Which song does it rip off?

Separate Ways and some would say BGTY as well. All these songs are similar...SW, BGTY, MOL and even the new one, Never Walk Away.

Wouldn't surprise me. The guitar solo in Signs of Life is a blatant copy of the solo in Who's Crying Now

Well, Neal had just said in his latest interview
"So I don't see the point of repeating the same song with different chords."

If he feels that's all they have been doing, no wonder things have tended to sound similar.

I'm one of those that likes the "deep tracks"- having said that, MOL is one of my all time Journey favs- I would love to hear it in concert.

When JSS led Journey in 2006 played it, they still used Perry's vocals on the intro.

Weird.
Cain piping those goofy parts in from the laptop, they should've cut that.

Yea, but it was worth it; Soto nailed this song!
I have to say, I saw Journey in Fresno in 06 and Jeff nailed just about every song he did. I particularly loved Ask the Lonely and Chain Reaction. Both of those were perfect.
"as long as they have to carry DSB as their banner, it looks like Perry will be right there with them as an overseer, ready to wield his veto power on all things Classic Journey." As quoted by Don on 12/7/2010
