A Journey reunion concert with the all original line-up...wouldn't that be nice.

Speaking of commercials I love the way they edited the video to match the music in this commercial. 8)

I'd love to see a Mr. Big commercial like that for a show I was actually capable of attending.

None taken. I'm not going to be a happy camper either, if they don't include some North American dates on their 2011 World Tour supporting this album they are doing right now.

To be a successful rock band in America you actually need chemistry and melody, and I suspect that's why they'll never be "big" here. Their music lacks both. Asia and Europe eat up mediocrity because most of the bigger bands shy away from those places.

It is insane, actually the number of mentions that band and it's spawn get on the actual Journey board but mentions of Journey (without perry), Schon, Cain, and Pineda are challenged, mocked, and drowned at every turn on their own board here.
That Martin guy plays a show in Valley Forge, PA where the log cabins, frogs rocks, and 7 people applaud and it's Woodstock.
Journey has a platinum album worldwide tour and a member testifies before congress and it's a laughingstock.

Hey, I like Bruce, we ALL like Bruce but come the fuck on with this "HE MAY BE READING!!!!!" line of posting that's here now opposed to the old days. I'm ALL for a good Journey joke which is why 85 of the ones you or Don put up go unchecked because they are funny with a kernel of satirical truth.
But some of the, er, lesser tier artist fawning that goes on HERE, under the guise of actual music posting in a Journey forum is at times too much.

Lots of people post about other bands/singers they like too.....Bruce, Dokken, Frontiers, etc, etc........or is it only females you call fawners? For the most part if I post about it it is in the "General" forum at the top or their own forum, not the "Journey" forum. And as for the thread about EM's show that I and some other MR members went to last month in California (not PA), that too was posted in the "General" forum not the "Journey" forum. I didn't think sharing some pics and vids from that show would offend anyone, sorry. And sorry if Journey (without Perry) doesn't get the respect you think they deserve, but that has nothing to do with Mr Big or it's spawn, as you so eloquently put it. Heck, my favorites get mocked and challenged just as much, but I guess I can handle it without pouting. Joepa, there is also a whole other musical world out there besides Journey, and some of us live in it. :P

EM doesn't read here and I'm pretty sure Bruce doesn't either. But Neal does, so maybe you grabbed some brownie points for your post.  Get over it, people are going to post about the music/vocals they like........if somebody is doing it for attention from the artist they'd probably be better off posting on said artists website forum where they may actually read it, then here. Oh oh.......I've also been diggin' a couple of other "lesser tier artists" music lately too. So please forgive any fawning of Andy Taylor or Henry Lee Summer in advance, ok?

I do. With the exceptions of Rik Emmett, Moonie, Deb, Pamela Anderson, Shannon Tweed and Peter North, the rest can go suck a polar bear rod.

 Wow I actually agree with you on something. Although I like a few Rush songs, not a big fan of Geddy's voice, can't handle more than a song or two. But the other 2 are definitely Canadian keepers. Gawd, that BC can write a great song and he's got a great unique voice.
