detroit 1986 raised on radio show

there is a 1 cd version and 2cd, does anyone have the 2cd and if so how good is the quality, it has ask the lonely on there, would love to hear perry sing that live, have a chance to download, but only if it is good, any info is appreciated

The 1-cd boot is lousy...SP didn't sound good in it at all. Then I got the 2-cd version, and SP came across much cleaner (clearer). Wonder how that is so

Annie, I think that is because the 2-cd version was recorded live and it came from a japanese radio show which I surmize was edited for quality. Never heard the 1 cd version, but my guess would be it was either an audience recording or raw footage from the live feed.

JR... I think you're right. The shortened boot (1cd) didn't sound like a good quality recording at all -- audience recording, probably....while the 2-cd version is the entire show -- and soundboard recording for Japanese satellite.

MG... it's the same show...on both versions, SP announced to the audience that "we're taping for Japanese broadcast!" Don't know which night you saw. Do you remember Steve giving a shout out to the Japanese listeners at the show you were in? This weekend, if I don't have anything to do, I'll find my copies and upload it for you to save.

I'm going to opt~out here ...but I will say that the only time I ever saw anyone on their asses
at a Perry fronted show, is if they fell on them!! People were there to hear all the songs, course the DD
