'Glee' Brings Journey to Britain's 'X Factor'

By now, even non-Gleeks know that Journey gets plenty of play (and mad cheddar) from "Glee." After the cast's performance on Britain's "The X Factor" last night (Nov. 5), however, the whole U.K. knows, too.

Revisting the pilot episode of "Glee," the New Directions -- sans Kurt, unfortunately -- sang Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" to the U.K. It's fair to say the performance comes as a tactic to boost sales of the five-date U.K. "Glee" tour during summer 2011.

No surprise that the "Glee" cast nailed the song. What was surprising, however, was Sue Sylvester giving Simon Cowell some love in her video introduction. "There's something about that guy I've always liked -- I think it's how he wears shirts that sort of show the shape of his nipples," Sue said.

Mercedes (Amber Riley) also gave Simon some love, getting up in the judge's face to belt it out, in her usual diva style.
