Why have'nt Journey ever been big in australia?

simple answer....basically, never toured outside of the US. Australia, being in the location that it is, also has a VERY confined music scene and a lot of bands never get in, and those that are popular rarely break out.

No effort has ever been put in here. Small market, costly to tour and they never got lucky with radio play. Seen more as a big corporate US rock band during the 80s.

Bad English did much better in their short time and Perry did well with Street Talk on the back if Oh Sherrie.
