Well, not really, but it is his Birthday.

Happy Birthday, ol' crypt keeper. Thanks for holding down the bottom end all these years! :D

The guy had some pretty stellar contributions back in the day. He and Smitty laid down some bad ass grooves, man. Nice dude, too.

Is he going for the early Social Security option or holding out until next year?

He's 62... Got a few more shows before he's 80... he'll probably qualify for regular Social Security when this tour is done.

Remember how he just hung out with a bunch of BT people in the Heart Bar in Vegas? And we all kind of just gathered around. He was super nice. I mean I don't think there is anyone else in that band who would do that. He just sat and talked with people. Some of which I'm sure he knew, as fans. But still, I think the other guys were off gambling or shopping. I thought that was pretty cool.

That was really cool of him, and it seemed pretty obvious that he's really just a regular guy. He actually sat right next to me when he stopped in and we exchanged a few nice words. Cool dude. We talked about gambling and how neither of us is any good at it. lol

Well, we didn't see much of him around there. And that was the first time I'd seen Journey perform with him. He didn't join us in the heart bar. But from what I understand, the dry air in Vegas was KILLING his voice, so he couldn't be in the casino's much. I'm betting the smoke didn't help.

Oh, and JEFF was cool like that too. If we are going to include the more current singers. I was thinking of the old ones.

Did you ever get to meet Augeri? I've heard he's pretty nice and classy too.

From what I understand, Arnel had a small party in his room and Neal was asleep about 2 hours afer the show ended. I think I remember seeing Deen in the casino playing slots. Slots, folks, not sluts.

Nope. I never even saw him perform. I had no idea that Journey moved on without Perry. I didn't follow Journey after Perry until JSS took over for Augeri.

Yeah, the lady was supposedly Jon's niece. Yes, Deen's mom was there, too. Deano carried her around the casino.
