I agree. Neal should keep these songs in the sets and not cave entirely to the nostalgia crowd who just want to hear the 80's hits.
Europe gets it and I'm sure these songs will go over well when they tour there.

Journey is a business that is being run into the ground. The legacy, well what's left of it, is being dragged through the mud
Resonate over Troubled Child? City of Hope over Edge of the Blade? Edge of the Moment over Frontiers? I'll pass....bad business model.
A Schon-heavy Journey is set up for failure...I've always said even if SP isn't in the band officially, he could still collaborate in the songwriting area....cause evidently Neal and Co. have run out of ideas....

Let's take a look at all of the unique and original ideas Perry has come up with since 1996:

S2M is going to end up eating crow, although of course, he won't admit that and will continue his negative tirade just to stir up the shit....I say just ignore the prick!

Sorry, you're wrong. As I have said, the only people picking up this coaster are: Guitar wienies(neal Fans), filipinas, and stalker-type fans..

I think you are correct, but I think there are also those who actually LIKE what they are hearing. I believe it will be the most divisive Journey album since Raised on Radio because of the style change, but different doesn't necessarily translate to bad. Sometimes, it's just different.

Correct. In my case, I didn't care about Journey much, but after hearing these clips, I'm more interested than ever. I haven't been hanging around the forums blindly defending anything J-boyz.

For some people, this new direction is a huge breath of fresh air, and some people embrace Arnel and some don't. That's how it is and that's why music is subjective. You can't show me an objective reason to like the music you like. Music is an experience that touches everybody in their own personal way. While one lyric or note in "Faithfully" might hit the spot and become an emotional experience for one, it could be meaningless drudge to another.

Ok, here it is. Go easy on it, I'm an amateur! Not a great camera, and I was holding it off to the side so I could watch the show and not be hidden or miss anything behind the lens. I know it makes the clip jumpy, but I just recorded it for myself to get to listen to the song when I got home.
