Journey tickets

Journey tickets FINALLY go on sale next Saturday.
CANNOT wait for this show. I don't get "up" for many concerts these days.
What's the preferred way to get tickets? I usually just call TicketBastard...

Which show are you going to? Maybe I'll join ya. :) It depends on where you want to sit. TicketMaster is really hit-and-miss (mostly miss for me), even if you go in the moment they go onsale. Many of the best seats seem to be reserved for V.I.P.'s, fan clubs, and 3rd party brokers. I'm still learning all this, but pre-sales seem to be the absolute best way of getting great seats at face value.

Seattle would be awesome! Pre-sales vary, and some are by the sponsors of the venue. I remember the one from Vegas was done by American Express, and I didn't know about it until it was over. That's why I had 3rd row seats and several of my friends got 1st, lol.

Now, I don't know if you're into ILoveAllAccess packages, but I just looked and these are still upcoming for this show. If you snag a 5-star package as soon as they open up, you're most likely going to get front row. It's kind of a pain - they seem to only give me about 2-3 hours notice before going on sale. I'll keep my eye out.

The 5-star packages are $350/each this go around, and the 4-stars are $225.00. How close do you want to sit? There are still other options -- not all the great seats are scarfed up, but you may have to dig around to find a good one.

For other ILAA options, check the other bands websites as well. I think Dan said he got a much better deal going to Hearts website for ILAA tickets when they toured with Journey.

That is much better than Bon Jovi. I think to get that close to Bon Jovi you're talking at least a grand.

That is true - we purchased a few tickets thru the Heart Fan Club, and they were quite a good deal!

I just bought the Bon Jovi Madison Square Garden DVD from Wal Mart for $10, and I was surprised at how completely un-manly his stage presence and moves are these days. Quite the opposite of masculine, I have to say.

 as opposed to whom?!?

SG, we were talking about these tickets prices in another thread, BonJovi came up! I don't completely
understand how it all works, but I do know that for years I've purchased my BonJovi tickets through
their fansite and, like Heart's fansite, you purchase the tickets they have at face value!
I paid 225.00 and 275.00, respectively, for front row the last two tours.
