Hell yes. Everything from Neal's playing to Arnel's pronunciation is a calculated throwback to Infinity-era Journey.

I think he's trying pretty hard with the "whoa-oh-whoa-ohs" on "All the Way." Other than that, not really.

I still can not believe I passed up an opportunity to see them many years back. They were playing right around the corner from where I was living in college at a small club in San Jose/Saratoga, Ca. Dang, talk about one of life's regrets :-P

The Cabaret? Saw Neal with Paul Rogers there many a moon ago. That was a great place for club size concerts. Loved that place. Caught Abraxas Pool at the Filmore in SF. Great freakin show and a perfect setting for it.

I think that's right... there's a Harry's Hofbrau in there, too. I'm sure that place is long gone by now. I saw Chris Cain open for B.B. King right around the same timeframe. Good times!

There is even a subtle sigh at the end of a line early on, similar to something Perry has done.

Next he'll be heavy breathing into the mic, just like Perry:

LOL

I get the Infinity vibe. I have stated I get an Infinity vibe off this album on, especially, Neal's playing. And Like a Sunshower harkens back to that era in feel of the song, so I love it. But I don't hear any obvious Perryisms in Arnel's singing nor similar vocal tone.

To me, I hear Arnel sounding like Steve A on Wildest Dream. I don't know if it is just the style of the song. It sounds like a carry-over from Steve A's days with Journey.

Meanwhile, I think I am starting to like Human Feel. Compared to the concert version, this is night and day.

Human Feel could have been improved with some feeling in Arnel's vocals. He's singing the note, but where's the "human feel" vibe? I'm not feelin' it. At least his diction has improved on those two songs.
